It is with a heavy heart we acknowledge the loss of artist, writer, activist and fellow of the One Tree House community, Robyn Kahukiwa. Her stunning artwork and her tireless support of children's literature marked the beginnings of the return of te reo Māori and we are extremely proud to have her works on our list. Our best wishes go to Reina and her whānau.

Robyn Kahukiwa’s work is always so powerful and thought-provoking — her art really connects viewers to culture and identity in a deep way. It’s interesting how art and meaningful symbols, like a lord shiva idol for home, both create a sense of presence and reflection in the spaces we inhabit.
