Left to Nowhere
About this title:
In this sophisticated, engaging, and beguiling picture book, the inhabitants of a post-industrial and unfamiliar land get carried away with their celebrations. They end up destroying something that is an integral part of their world. Only then do they realise, when the last one is gone, just what they have lost. Fortunately, they are given a chance to address their errors.
A universal tale of appreciating and preserving what you have, this is wonderfully thought-provoking and is a springboard for discussions with children, with themes of care and conservation.
